Hit chapter 9 and cry. The difficulty has a major spike and you have to get REALLY good at making good paradigms and using a good strategy. Once you get the chance, SEN/SEN/SEN will be your best friend. You know what I realized? I don’t know if this is just a effect of playing Lost Odyssey and praying for a save point at least after 45 minutes of running through a dungeon. Final Fantasy 13 is very generous with save points it’s like thank you so much for watching 20 minutes of cut scenes here have a save screen.
I kind of enjoy how linear it is. There is nothing I love to hate more then running through a dungeon getting lost and raped by enemies while trying to complete some retarded puzzle. The enemies in FF13 are actually pathetic to some degree though I honestly have no idea what I’m doing it’s like Attack + attack + ruin or something and I win. With the occasional potion.
THE SKILL TREES OH MY GOD AMAZING 10+ SO COOOL THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN
So far FF13 is not a traditional RPG which is kind of a breath of fresh air because lately I have only been playing Lost Odyssey which is extremely traditional. What is traditional? RPG that basically you get characters over the course of the game every dungeon has a bitch puzzle then a boss fight then some cut scenes then you go to a new area. Rinse and repeat.
